The "Cell-free Human Aortic Valve, Arise AT" has been approved by the German competent authority as a medicinal product (PEI.G.11996.01.1) for use in children and adults. The "Cell-free Human Aortic Valve, Arise AT" is intended for the replacement or reconstruction of the ascending aorta, the arcus aortae or the descending aorta according to the clinical indication.

Clinical experience

We know from the clinical application of the cell-free aortic valve that the cell-free aorta can be used safely. Clinical experience, especially with the descending aorta, has not been reported so far. The frequency distribution for the proximal diameter corresponds approximately to that of the cell-free aortic valve.
